No Win No Fee
At W.D. Hunt & Associates we understand that one of the main concerns for our clients when seeking legal advice on their Personal Injury or Compensation claim is how much this advice will cost them at a time when money is not growing on trees!
As part of our holistic approach to this area of the law and in line with Wendy’s background in social welfare work, our compensation workers operates under a strict No Win/No Fee policy. We believe that our No Win/No Fee policy reduces, in a fundamental way, the financial stress our clients often suffer after their accident, when they are unable to earn an income and the future is uncertain.
Our No Win/No Fee policy means, that you will not be required to pay any money upfront for your legal fees. In fact, you will not be required to pay any legal fees unless your claim for Personal Injury or Compensation is successful. If your claim for Personal Injury or Compensation is unsuccessful then you will not have the added burden of trying to pay your legal fees on top of your medical expenses.
We apply Our No/Win No Fee policy to all types of compensation claims, including workers compensation, motor accident compensation, victims compensation, public liability compensation and compensation for personal injury.
Wendy’s experience as a social worker and her participation in the Westmead Hospital Legal Panel for over a decade by providing free legal advice to patients in the hospital, confirms that we really are a legal firm that operates outside the normal legal arena. We treat our clients with respect and believe in the importance of working as a team with our clients to give them back some of the power and confidence taken away from them by their injuries and subsequent rehabilitation. We explain to our clients the strategies we use and what we need to do together to ensure we obtain the best possible outcome for our client.
As well as our compensation lawyers's No Win/No Fee policy we adopt a flexible approach towards disbursements that may need to be paid for such as doctors’ reports, psychologists’ reports and any other reports we believe will maximise your compensation claim. In most circumstances we will pay these disbursements upfront on your behalf and wait until the successful conclusion of your case and then seek reimbursement for most, if not all, of these expenses from the insurer. If the insurer does not pay for all your disbursements, then we will wait until you receive your compensation to be reimbursed any shortfall.
An added benefit of our experience in Personal Injury and Compensation claims is our ability to give you an estimate of the amount of compensation you may receive at your initial interview provided we have some medical evidence to assess your level of injury. This estimate is based on your injuries, the medical evidence, any claim for economic loss and medical treatment expenses and your statutory entitlements. This lets you know what your compensation claim may be worth in dollars and cents.
To discuss your rights to compensation and for an assessment of the amount of compensation you may be entitled to receive, contact Wendy at W.D. Hunt & Associates to arrange your free face-to-face conference.
